## Browser pdfTeX fallback

The bundled browser pdfTeX engine wrapper and WebAssembly runtime include
SwiftLaTeX components Copyright (C) 2019 Elliott Wen, distributed under:

SPDX-License-Identifier: EPL-2.0 OR GPL-2.0 WITH Classpath-exception-2.0

The corresponding JavaScript source files retain their upstream copyright and
license headers. The generated TeX format and TeX Live files requested by the
compiler are subject to their respective TeX Live/CTAN package licenses.

R14.2 also redistributes a SwiftLaTeX-compatible TeX Live core assembled from
the bundled package cache in the user-supplied Texbrain source used as an
integration reference. Individual TeX Live/CTAN files retain their upstream
licenses; this notice does not replace package-specific license terms.

## Optional primary browser compiler

`scripts/fetch-busytex-assets.mjs` can fetch the optional BusyTeX browser
runtime during deployment. The pinned BusyTeX runtime is distributed under
AGPL-3.0-or-later. TeXise itself remains AGPL-3.0-or-later; downloaded compiler
assets retain the license notices supplied by their upstream package and
release archive.

## PDF.js

TeXise uses PDF.js (`pdfjs-dist`) for in-browser PDF rendering.
PDF.js is Copyright Mozilla Foundation and contributors and is licensed under
the Apache License, Version 2.0.

## MathLive

TeXise uses MathLive (`mathlive`) for source-backed visual equation editing.
MathLive is distributed under the MIT License. Its bundled font/runtime assets
retain the notices supplied by the upstream package.

## Yjs collaboration stack

TeXise uses Yjs (`yjs`) for CRDT document state, `y-protocols` for awareness,
and `y-codemirror.next` for collaborative CodeMirror bindings. Live document
and awareness updates are carried through TeXise's same-origin WebSocket relay.
These packages are distributed under the MIT License and retain the notices
supplied by their upstream distributions.

Collaborative project text is mirrored into the user's selected TeXise project
storage. Binary project assets are deliberately not embedded in Yjs updates and
are transferred only as an immutable join-time project snapshot during TX7 live
collaboration.

## TeXlyre collaboration adaptation

R14.28.14 Build Fix 32 adapts the Source-editor Yjs binding and selected
collaboration lifecycle/UI concepts from TeXlyre 0.10.16, Copyright Fares
Abawi and contributors (https://github.com/texlyre/texlyre). TeXlyre is
distributed under AGPL-3.0-or-later, which is compatible with TeXise's
AGPL-3.0-or-later distribution.

The principal adapted implementation is
`packages/js-lib/project-collaboration/src/codemirror-yjs-binding.ts`; TX7 also
adapts TeXlyre's awareness-user and project-link/QR interaction patterns while
retaining TeXise's project Y.Doc, browser storage, compile pipeline and
same-origin `/collab-live` WebSocket relay. Corresponding source remains part
of this TeXise distribution.

## TikZ Draw

TeXise includes a locally hosted, TeXise-integrated adaptation of TikZ Draw
from https://github.com/keplerg/tikz-draw. TikZ Draw is distributed under the
MIT License. Its complete upstream licence is retained at
`packages/tooling/browser-entry/public/tikz-draw/LICENSE.md`. The vendored
editor also retains its upstream attribution for Lucide inline SVG icons
(ISC licence). TeXise does not load TikZ Draw or MathJax from a third-party
network origin.
