# Hotfix10 / Build Fix 41 Branding & Provenance Audit

## Public identity rule

TeXise is the product/platform identity across public pages, SEO, PWA metadata, editor UI, Terminal UI, Admin, current operational documentation and generated public assets.

Product-facing uses of the inherited `TexLab` name have been normalized to `TeXise Terminal`/`Terminal`. `TeXiser` is not used as a second product name; `@texiser`/`@TeXiser` remains only where it is the genuine social handle/display spelling.

## Approved residual upstream reference classes

Upstream names are retained only when they are materially accurate and required, including:

- genuine package/module identifiers such as Bangle ecosystem dependencies;
- safe legacy migration keys such as the historical IndexedDB identifier;
- required TeXlyre/BusyTeX compiler distribution package/endpoints;
- legal notices, licenses and source attribution;
- genuinely historical release records and compatibility tests.

Current public HTML, PWA metadata, server SEO and user-facing runtime surfaces are fail-closed under `scripts/verify-texise-branding.mjs`.

## Non-goal

This audit does not relabel third-party software as TeXise and does not remove legally required provenance.
